Product description for 7Artisans AF 18mm f/2 Pancake LITE Sony E (APS-C)

The AF 18mm f/2 Pancake LITE is an exceptionally compact and lightweight wide-angle lens for APS-C cameras. With a focal length of 18mm (equivalent to approx. 27mm in 35mm format) and a 77° angle of view, it’s ideal for landscape, architectural, travel, and street photography, as well as for spontaneous everyday shots.

Thanks to its flat pancake design, the lens measures just 32mm in length and weighs only 109g. This keeps the camera comfortably handy and ready for use at any time—ideal for photographers who value mobility.
The fast f/2 aperture allows for shooting in challenging lighting conditions and creates an attractive background blur. The 9 aperture blades produce a harmonious, natural-looking bokeh and give images a pleasing sense of depth.
The autofocus with eye and face detection works quickly and precisely, while manual focus is available at any time if needed. The aperture can be adjusted both electronically and via the click-stop aperture ring.
The optical design, consisting of 9 elements in 7 groups, ensures high image quality with excellent sharpness. With a minimum focusing distance of just 20 cm, you can also capture interesting close-ups with a distinctive perspective.
A 52-mm filter thread allows for the use of standard filters such as polarizing or ND filters.
A USB-C port on the Lens is available for future updates, allowing firmware updates to be performed. A USB-C cable with data transfer capability is included. Windows 10 or higher is recommended for updates.
